This 4-day class teaches Six Sigma Green Belt candidates what they need to know to successfully contribute as a Six Sigma team member and Lean practicing quality organization resource. 

Six Sigma Green Belt, based on the ASQ Body of Knowledge and other quality improvement practices and resources, includes comprehensive, interactive instruction, participation in class activities and projects, periodic knowledge examinations, and a comprehensive Six Sigma Green Belt final examination that leads to recognition of achievement and awarding of the Green Belt to successful candidates.

Hands-on activities, examples, and group discussions provide participants opportunities to learn the foundations, principles, and practices of Six Sigma, and apply this knowledge to making and sustaining improvements that enhance organizational performance.

Students learn how to identify improvement opportunities, characterize problems by using the unique language and mathematics of Six Sigma with the DMAIC quality improvement process, how to use data effectively as a problem analysis and solution tool, and how to conduct Six Sigma Breen Belt + Lean projects that promote sustained improvement over the long-term.

Text books required for the first day of class: "The Lean Six Sigma Pocket Toolbook" by Michael George @$12.00. "Six Sigma for Dummies" by Craig Gygi and Bruce Williams  @$20.00.
