This class adds to the basic competencies learned in Level 1 of the this series.  Participants explore these topics to become stronger in their roles in leading the ever-changing, diverse, risk-based thinking, process-oriented 21st century workplace.  The primary focus of level 2 is on leadership, change, risk and systems.  Included are an examination of how the diverse organization is a complex system of many parts, all changing and moving at the same time toward a desired destination. 

Participants explore team leadership and performance management aimed at improving all aspects of the organization and how to manage it at the small group level while attaining the organizational goals.  Students learn through activities dialogue, discussions, examples and references to the critical professional abilities, knowledge and skills needed to become effective as a supervisor in the 21st century organization. Participants should complete level 1 of this series before attending this session.
